Hi everyone, it's Marlene Boyle from Remax Jazz with the next episode of Know Your Neighbourhood.
The Enniskillen Conservation Area is a popular trail for locals to go for walks and runs. There's a great boardwalk along the pond with a dock where you might be able to find some turtles, frogs, or toads in the warmer months. This spot is great for fishing, which is permitted as long as you have a fishing license. Along with the beautiful views over the water, Enniskillen also has 5 and a half kilometres of trails leading through the forest that includes the Bowmanville creek and a second pond. Enniskillen Conservation Area offers building rentals, and picnic shelter rentals which would be great for family events. This is also a go-to spot for children's summer camps.
